CyanogenMod 10.1 (based on Android Jellybean 4.2 and higher) includes two special menus full of preferences that are intended for developers and other advanced users only.

These menus are normally hidden from the user. However they can be revealed by following these instructions.

To Enable the Developer and Performance settings on CyanogenMod 10.1

  1. In the Settings app, choose the About Phone (or About Tablet) option.
  2. Scroll down, and tap the Build number seven times. On the seventh tap, you will be notified that "You are now a developer."
  3. Return back to the main Settings menu. The Developer options and Performance settings should now be visible.
